Včera proběhla naše patnáctá beseda s hostem. Tentokrát jsme strávili velice zajímavý večer s Albertem Kubištou, ředitelem Novoměstské radnice.

Když hovoříte s velmi inteligentním člověkem, který je ochoten podělit se o své znalosti a zkušenosti, a přitom tak činí způsobem, že se cítíte jako rovnocenný účastník diskuse, rozhodně vás to duševně a intelektuálně obohatí.

Přesně takový pocit jsme měli dnes z besedy s Albertem Kubištou, během níž jsme živě a velmi příjemně debatovali o Evropě národů a regionů, o minulosti která se částečně zrcadlí v současnosti, o Praze a Čechách v dobách minulých a dnes, a hlavně o nás, lidech žijících na těchto územích ve více či méně bouřlivých a zajímavých dobách.

Celkově to byl další krásný večer v našem klubu, se skvělým hostem a velmi obohacující diskusí.

When you talk to an very intelligent person who is willing to share their knowledge and experience, and yet does so in a way that makes you feel like an equal participant in the discussion, you definitely experience mental and intellectual enrichment.

This is the feeling we had today from the discussion with Albert Kubišta, during which we had a lively and very pleasant debate about Europe of nations and regions, about the past which is partly mirrored in the present, about Prague and Bohemia in the past and today, and especially about us, people living in these territories in more or less turbulent and interesting times.

All in all, it was another wonderful evening at our club, with a great guest and a very enriching discussion.
